What keeps fascinating me is the sometimes inconceivable interplay between light, water and the reflections of the surroundings.

It is marvelous to see how the image changes with every squall, angle of illumination or passing duck. Sometimes the light seems to be dancing across the surface, sometimes the pond seems fathomlessly deep and illusive.

All these photos were taken of the pond of the Kunstmuseum of the Hague, at different times and seasons.
